Mendimi Akademik is an electronic journal which focuses on philosophical, educational, political, social, cultural, and historical developments of the Mediterranean region. The journal publishes in the following languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, and Albanian. All articles are refereed by three independent referees. The final decision is made by the editorial board.
The journal is based in Vlora (Southern Albania) which is a city rich in culture and history of the old Mediterranean. Surrounded by many archeological sites, visited by hundreds of thousands of international visitors every year the city reflects on the old culture and tradition of the region.
